TOPOGRAPHY & SURFACE AREAS
The landscape is quintessentially Mediterranean and typical of central Spain with rolling hills covered with various species of oak including holm
and cork, strawberry trees (arbutus), Mediterranean bushes, planted pines, olive groves and open fields.
The Bullaquejo River runs through the estate leading to an earth dam and large pond which serves as a reservoir located below the main house
with a capacity of 300,000 cubic meters containing abundant black bass. There are various springs and a well with a capacity of up to
200,000 litres per hour depending on the time of year. Another 20 man-made smaller ponds are dispersed throughout the estate as shown in
the map below in order to provide water for the wildlife throughout the year.
The entire perimeter of the estate is surrounded by a two meter high fence which was recently completely replaced and is sunken deep into the
ground to prevent animals, particularly wild boar, from burrowing below it and entering or leaving the property. Additional fencing separates
the three main shooting areas. The livestock areas are also separated from the rest of the estate with electrified enclosures.
Approximately 200 kilometres of roads and paths provide easy access to the entire estate despite the rugged terrain in certain areas.
